Very surprised by this In-N-Out hate. I think they have some of the best fast food fries.

i've had them twice, and both times had bad luck because they were un/under salted.

I haven't had BK in years, but I remember those were always pretty bad.

Currently, I'd have to go with Wendy's. They are consistently dull.

Five Guys fries can be very hit and miss for me. I've had both ends of the spectrum. It really depends how soon you eat them b/c really short shelf life or if I get the dipshit fry cook who undercooks them.

yeah who complains about undersalted fries? I'd rather they be that than oversalted. You can put as much salt as you want on them.

guys, salting fries after they've been cooked is worthless. the salt just falls off.

under-salted fries ruins the fries.

umm, that's when the restaurant does it too, after they are out of the fryer.

but right out of the fryer is different -- they still have moisture so they can hold onto the salt.
