That quote from Janet mentioning a tour is from the Q&A section of the Sleater-Kinney website, and was posted in 2004. Hopefully they're still planning on playing some shows.

Yeah, I love the fact that to advertise an all-drums album, they had to enlist the help of a classical piece for strings. Visually, it looked like it was trying pretty hard to push a gimmick that they assume people won't be invested in. That's partly true for the majority of people, probably, but there is always a contingent of fans who are totally used to this kind of concept. They're not reinventing the wheel and I hate that this trailer and their band name kind of treats the concept as that.

The few examples of all-drums music I've heard lead me to believe this has potential to be interesting, but my bullshit detector is going off because I don't trust Matt to have the required imagination. If there's nothing to fill the gaps left by other instruments, imagination is crucial to keep the listener entertained. I don't know anything about the other drummers mind you. It's really that awful band name that makes me think there is really going to be no inspiration here beyond a shared experience between friends.

There is only 2 songs here and they are 20 minute songs each. Its going to be a fun record...im happy its out there just to hear these 3 beasts having fun.

For a great drumming album; see Jack Irons Attention Dimension.

I don't like the fact that there's just a huge drum kit on the cover ("just in case you hadn't already understood what this project is, we're helping you out once more"). But I DO like the fact that the font, and the green colour of the photo, looks like a newspaper front page. That's cool.

There are three kits on the cover. It is a photo of the actual studio set up.

Cover should've been a photo of a snare drum covered in jizz.

I can only see one kit though. And it's still clichéd.
