The music, the breakdown in the bridge, etc are great. I like it more than I used to. Just not a fan of Ed in this one. His words and vocal take away from the song.

I must be hearing a different song than some of you. I always found the lyrics to be among the most authentic in the catalogue and I always found Ed's delivery to be as convincing as he ever gets. Arguably my favourite PJ tune.

Yea I don't get it either. Up there with songs like Brain of J. and Hail, Hail for me.guitar_davey wrote:EJ wrote:The music, the breakdown in the bridge, etc are great. I like it more than I used to. Just not a fan of Ed in this one. His words and vocal take away from the song.

Absolutely! Those two are perfect comparisons.

This one was on the radio today (playing this whole concert)
MAN this song was great live. Riot Act as an album Im not a big fan of, but the live versions really helped bring some of these songs to life.

This song was such a slow burn for me. Like 2 stars for many many years and it's just had me by the jaffas for the past 5 years or so.

I've got this at 5/5 stars, and Ed's vocals might be my favorite thing about it.
