I have the best music knowledge of anyone on this board so obviously my statement is dead on correct.

I had nothing to like about this album. The promotion was too gaudy and the guests too 'famous' for something like this project. My first listen I did not like this album. Heck, I still don't like it. But I do like listening to it. The songs are pretty good, especially "If You Run" which borders on amazing. A lot of it sounds too much like a Queens album where he fired his band and hired some people off the street but there's still some cohesion anyway.

Something you can't see is so good.

This just has me aching for a new Them Crooked Vultures. I would love both more music and a chance to see John Paul Jones before he dies. The TCV album sounds so good loud.

P.S. Really enjoying the Desert Sessions album.

In related news, I finally got a copy of Villains on vinyl - sounds soooooo much better

This doesn't remind me of the other desert sessions in a sense like it's not as raw.. but it's still p good
