And I thought I was being tough. I mean the last two are definitely at the bottom for me, and it’s really not close with the rest. But that being said, I don’t find them to be embarrassing like others do. I think they are more like place holders until some inspiration takes them somewhere better. They are by no means great albums but they also don’t sink to the level of a Dirty Work or Human Touch where I actively hate the music.

One thing I will note is that before this journey, No Code was my favorite, but after, maybe not. I think the experiences of Vitalogy and Binaural really stood out more than any other. No Code, Yield, Vs., and Ten are really next for me. Pearl Jam and Riot Act were both just barely a step below that for me, and Lightning Bolt and Backspacer at the bottom. I think the top 8 I listed are all relatively close but that is how I sort of categorized it listening straight through.
