I hadn't considered that it might not even be Bateman. So curious.

As much as I've enjoyed these first two eps, I'm sort of scared that whatever explanation they offer in the end will be underwhelming or downright silly.

I could have done without the monster wearing the hoodie in the first episode. It's a shape-shifter who eats kids, I get it. Woo. Wish the mystery could've stretched out a bit longer. (If you've read the book and I'm wrong, please don't tell me. Would love to be surprised.)

What was up with the cop who was hunting in the opening scene? He's got a living boar in his sites, he gets the message to come to work, and he leaves; we then cut to the boar, but it's dead and has flies buzzing around it.

I'm thinking there's more to this guy than meets the eye.

Also I'm not entirely ready yet to commit to there being a supernatural element, based on the Hodges trilogy. And for anyone who's read the book, please don't spoil that for me.
