Also, I'd love to see the 30,000 years ago story. That's the kind of shit that would be cool

Sure but it's a rule that Sidious followed so it has lasting merit and meaning.

Was it? Depends on whether or not Snoke was considered sith I guess. If he was, then there was a master (sidious) and two apprentices (Snoke and kylo), right?

Neither Snoke nor Kylo Ren were Sith.

So then if palps followed the rule of two, there was an apprentice out there somewhere between RotJ and TFA.

Not sure about that. Because we have no idea how active Palps was in that time. He was believed to be dead. Was there an apprentice? Could be. But we just don't know. As far as the story that we know so far the Sith were extinct.

I just think that we don't know enough to say that every sith Lord for a thousand years since Bane followed his rule of two to a tee. There also could have been many force users out there over that time that hated the Jedi.

I don't even know what we're taking about here, tbh. I forget why I brought that point up.

Palps was rule of two sith when it suited him.

He had Anakin coming up and grooming him and he knew it. He had dooku and maul at the same time.

As others have pointed out, Palps being back (and how) is the biggest WTF? of the ST. It isn't explained at all. So we just don't know.

We also don't know if the end results of ROTJ lead Palps to abandon the Rule of Two. Maybe he bailed on that shit after Vader betrayed him. All interesting and important questions that I hope get explored in the EU.

Can't Palps just be an unreliable narrator? He prob had a bunch of tongs in the fire.

totes

The whole Rule of Two thing is more of a Lucas thing than a Palps thing, tbh

The Inquisitors are not Sith.

Just Dark Side Force users and enforcers.

Maybe make a movie/trilogy without the Jedi or Sith as the most important characters.

While I personally would like more Jedi/Force mythology explored, I could totally get behind what you're saying here, Anders.

Rogue One is amazing and has no proper Jedi/Sith.

There’s plenty of room for stories about both
