Probably some jazz or classical since it all sounds the same to my uncultured ears anyway.

I love listening to classical music at times. But one classical song for the rest of time, would be as bad a pop or rock song.

I love Festival. When the song climaxes towards the end it gives me chills. every time. Its magical. ESPN also used that part for a WC 2014 commercial:

That shit had me so lit

I immediately went to Vaka, then I thought about death for a smidgen and went to Hoppípolla and around four minutes in I came to peace and settled on Heysátan.

All great choices. Festival isn't even my favorite song of theirs, but fits better for this scenario

What's the song of theirs that Tom Cruise jumps off the building to at the end of Vanilla Sky? I have a really visceral reaction to that scene no matter how many times I've seen it and it's at least 50% that song.

I've been thinking about this off and on all day. Still haven't got to my answer yet though. It would have to be long, would be in the main instrumental, but I don't honestly know how I could go without some decent beats on occasion. My immediate thought was leaning more ambient, but I think that's the wrong choice for me.

I'll be back...
