I heard on the radio today: This day in history, 2/10/1989, WWF admits in Federal Court that the matches are staged.numbers wrote:Doesn’t have anything to do with XFL, from what I’ve seen. There are some investors questioning Vince’s workload, but the stock tanked because he fired the CFO and CEO and the earnings outlook isn’t great compared to past years.verb_to_trust wrote:I saw WWE shares have been plummeting

Re: XFL
this iteration is getting a lot of press. is the NFL co-owner of the XFL now? everyone seems to be 'all about it' ... i havent watched a game but there seems to be a lot of promotion going on through the normally-NFL avenues ... which is fine because it's the middle of February and wtf else are we gonna watch, NBA regular season games?
we should find a way to merge the XFL and Curling into a sport as well

Re: XFL
what are the notable 'new' things the XFL is doing that the NFL isn't doing, this time around?
I remember them trying to do a few things more different
which the NFL actually took notice of
sideline interviews during the games was one i think the NFL took from them
alternate field camera angles
locker room camera angles
shower room camera angles
all pretty novel stuff
