The very end of that reminds me of one of the unreleased song that leaked a long while back, words were all mumbled, but it had a similar groove.

Yeah, I believe that was the one. I can't find it on my computer at the moment to compare though.

Reminds me of Infallible (ok, I really like this song), but this has potential to be much better based on the snippet. I can see Ed singing on this and anything will sound cool.
I concur. Oh what could have been with Infallible.

what he needs to do with "...to find a place that Trump hadn't fucked up yet" is deliver it with Bushleaguer levels of humour and swag

I see we've entered the pre-DOTC release talk where the clip got us excited, and we were wondering how Ed would fuck it up.

Now that was an interesting snippet...very excited to hear this one.
I went back to check what some of the reviews said about it, and here's a nice blurb: "“Quick Escape” might be the best of the bunch. Penned by Jeff Ament and relying on his rumbling basslines, the song rides a grinding, uncomfortable groove underpinning talk of fleeing to far-flung lands to seek refuge from the headlines of the day, before rupturing into a chorus that, no joke, feels like it could’ve been on one of Pearl Jam’s early ’90s releases."
