I'd say it's neck and neck between 1 and 2. What a matchup between the first 5 records.

Once / Go / Last Exit / Sometimes / Brain of J
vs.
Even Flow / Animal / STBC / Hail Hail / Faithfull

God damn.

Going over the back half of the catalogue, I'd give the photo finish to 1, mostly thanks to a horse named Can't Keep.

They're all a mixed bag. I don't think there's a clear winner

#1 seems obvious at first glance but I went with #6 thanks to the latest contribution from Gigatron.

I would have said 8, until Big Wave and Supersonic hit and ruined my life

I'm the lone 13. Mainly for All Those, Immortality, and Parting Ways. But I agree, #1 was hard not to vote for, but the Backspacer track made the choice a little easier. Maybe that's another reason I chose 13, doesn't include any of the albums that are on the bottom tier for me....

I went with Track 7. DTE is the only "hit" of the bunch, but I like the mix of deep cuts here.

by the way, sirens should automatically disqualify no. 4

I think average is more important, than one or two good songs, or one or two bad. Sirens was even a single, and is the worst of the track 4 songs.

It's actually Johnny Guitar that disqualifies Track 4.

Johnny Guitar is one of the strongest Backspacer songs and Sirens is not particularly worse than most other Lightning Bolt songs. Not very good songs but don't affect the group in relation to the others.
