Sadly, yes. This seems like one of those situations where the prosecutor charges them with something beyond what they are confident they can get a conviction on and blows the case.

I honestly believe this will get fucked up. He was an investigator for the DA's office. They'll take care of their own. After all, it was only a black kid. It wasn't like he was white or anything.

i dont have faith this will get fucked up. i accepted it will be fucked up hence why it took 2 months for them to be charged.

there is no doubt in my mind i the races were reversed one of the killers would have unexplainable injuries that happened when he resisted

I in absolutely no way support the atrocity that just happened. it's horrifying

but there is a new video today that shows when he was jogging he stopped at this house that was under construction and went all around inside for 5 minutes and came out and then went jogging again

the neighbors thought it was a burglary

again I am not justifying chasing a person and shooting them. it's horrible.

but just some additional context is available now

but to be clear: IT IS HORRIBLE AND INEXCUSABLE

They said there were a string of robberies in the area yet oddly enough no one reported any robberies in the weeks leading up to it.

Even if there were video of him taking something out of there that is still no reason to shoot him, cops or rednecks

Yeah, if he was running down the street laughing maniacally with his arms full of cash and jewellery hanging out of his pockets, that still doesn't even begin to justify this kind of response.

yeah if the house was under construction what could he have just run away with? obviously the redneck vigilantes would be able to see he had nothing on him
