giving this one a go now. I liked this on paper but it isn’t really working for me so far. I like starting with a slower song but I wonder if retrograde would work better. River Cross is too much of a conclusion

the transition into quick escape works quite well but QE is too heavy for this spot. it needs some warm up tracks.

TTLW doesn’t fit here (but its hard to place anywhete). Too abrupt coming out of QE and for whatever reason it made the dance intro too processed

The whole "starting with a slow song" thing usually works much better on live shows than albums

i wish I could go back in time to those first dance clips (which underwhelmed me) so I could tell myself that this was going to be their best song in 20 years and an unqualified triumph

Alright doesnt work coming out of Dance. It is a pause moment you dont need after dance. It really works perfectly following QE

Really the first half of this album has excellent sequencing. One of their very best

Hmmm, I do like Comes then Goes after Alright, and moving that up does break up that clot of long slow songs at the end

alright - Comes then Goes - Who Ever Said - SBWM works really well
