I'm enjoying this. Some really quality of life improvements were made to make the series more contemporary and playable for modern audiences. Still very difficult, but runs and looks great on next gen hardware.

I agree. I think it's just difficult enough too. Crash Bandicoot games are supposed to be on the harder side.

The only thing I really have an issue with is that they got rid of the “Crash Dash” speed boost for the “Triple Spin” and it has made me not even want to do time trials, which now conveniently require Platinum relics versus just being a bragging point in the original trilogy.
That said, I’m still working on N. Sanely Perfects, those are quite tedious but at least not reliant on a speedrunning aspect.

I'm just glad that (so far at least) I haven't had to fly an airplane. I fucking hated those levels in Warped.

Yeah thank fuck.
I once ranked every Crash 1-3 level and Mad Bombers and whatever the fuck the other one’s called were at the very bottom.

This is very enjoyable. The removal of the limited lives per level is such a game changer.
