Cabs do a flat rate from airport to downtown locations and it's about $50.CopperTom wrote:Anyone have an idea on the cost of a cab from the airport to the arena area? It's about 15 miles.
Could take the light rail too.CopperTom wrote:Anyone have an idea on the cost of a cab from the airport to the arena area? It's about 15 miles.
It's a $40 flat rate to the hotel district downtown. To the arena, it'll run you close to $50 without tip, like Bammer said. Are you going straight to the arena when you arrive, or staying around the arena? If you get in before midnight and aren't strapped for time, the light rail can take you pretty deep into downtown for $2.50. Then you can hop a cab from there to the arena for $10 or soCopperTom wrote:Anyone have an idea on the cost of a cab from the airport to the arena area? It's about 15 miles.
Cool. I didn't know about the rail. I'll check it out.bodysnatcher wrote:It's a $40 flat rate to the hotel district downtown. To the arena, it'll run you close to $50 without tip, like Bammer said. This is true. Mee Sum Pastry is my favorite place to stop in the market.E.H. Ruddock wrote:There is a Chinese food stand across the street from the actual market in Pike Place market that sells hom bows. It is called Mee Sum bakery and they are freaking delicious.
I had a similar seat once - you're pretty far away, but it definitely beats back of floor seats. At least you're elevated. That shouldn't be a concern though - your first fucking show! You'll love it. A poor PJ concert is still better than just about anything else out there. Have fun.BostonClover wrote:I'm in that narrow category of longtime PJ fans who just never made it to a live show for various reasons. Always seems like school/work responsibilities, money, geography, etc. always got in the way. Finally made it happen for this Seattle show. It was starting to get to where I felt like I was going to be an old man in a rocking chair years from now saying "one thing I never did that I wished I did...." and regretting things is not my style, lol. Hoping it'll be a great experience. Never been to Seattle or Key Arena, I'm in Section 106, Row 2, hope it's a decent seat!
I'm asking this because I truly don't know, and am not trying to be a jerk. How do you know they are in 100 level if they are Ten Club tix? Did they guarantee all fan club tix will be 100 level? Because there is also back of the floor...swan wrote:Have 2 Ten Club tix in 100 level for Vancouver, looking to trade for 2 Seattle tix. PM me!
and the back of the floor kinda sucksE.H. Ruddock wrote:I'm asking this because I truly don't know, and am not trying to be a jerk. How do you know they are in 100 level if they are Ten Club tix? Not even the back of the floor... the first few rows of reserved seats on the floor blows, too.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:and the back of the floor kinda sucksE.H.
