Not really related but Mrs. Bam’s #1 reason for voting democrat is that they care more about the environment. So isn’t it interesting that every time she gets some new makeup or a new thing of contact solution, I am the one who fishes the cardboard packaging / box out of the bathroom garbage basket and brings it down to the recycle in the kitchen.
The two-party system has got to go!!

That's what ruddo said. I'll show all the doubters.
Growing up, I remember my grandparents just had a giant open air pile in a shady corner of their backyard for compost. We threw scraps in it all the time and dug for worms.
Trying the same thing here. may take a year but I'm in no hurry.
I believe they call this "cold composting."

We'll see. My memory could be playing tricks on me since this was 30+ years ago. Who knows what else my grandpa was doing with that pile. Fun project with low stakes.
