Maybe his voice just hates Europe? This happened in 2018 too for a show or two. Difference was they had a week off before their next show.

I went to Pistoia in 2018 and he sounded amazing. He was even better this year, so if they get around to play tomorrow, im sure ill be a great show.

I was, of course, joking. To your point, he made a comment during one of the U.S. shows that he had COVID pretty bad--I know from some cases I've seen at work that there are people who got infected in 2020 who still have long-COVID, so Ed might be in tbat cohort.

Same, but traveling to see a show might be a thing of the past. Going to St. Louis is not like going to Prague or Vienna or Amsterdam. If I get there and the show is cancelled, it’s a total loss. Fuck the Arch.

St Louis isn't bad. They've got a good zoo and the Budweiser brewery tour was surprisingly good.

Man, this really sucks.
They should've pulled the pin on these shows days ago, not cancelled at the last moment.
And even now, leaving the possibility of a show tomorrow night - what kind of shape will Ed be in to perform?
