In some inner circles, there’s the theory that Ed died in 2002, and was replaced by a clone that had been in development since the early Clinton years. It was under the government name “Project Eddie Better”.

Seen here were early meetings between the two:

The theory is supported by Ed’s reemergence with short hair during the Riot Act release. The team had trouble with clones and hair growth, and were only able to have it grow to that length before album release. This is why his hair has been so dry and stringy ever since.

The idea of cloning musicians isn’t new, but the early test models weren’t entirely accurate. Elvis, Tupac, just to name a couple. They dialed in the physical look with Eddie Better, but they are using this model to really work on mimicking voice, natural stage movements, and personality. With this clone, they expected an aging Eddie to start melding into typical “rock star” life (ie. marry a model, make more money), but what they didn’t expect was the loss of talent. This has perplexed the scientific team and they are trying to further understand how to clone natural, non-physical attributes and skills.

I think Ed's shown he'd do just fine with a solo career/act.
I can see the others being happily retired but continue to be musical.

:haha:
For the overwhelming majority of people, Nirvana only lasted this long, period. In terms of being an active band.

Around PJ20, if you had told me that they would for sure still be around for another decade, I would have been surprised. This era is found money, imo

Ed: "And then as the wave is cresting, you cut down and with the pipe"

Obama: "Eddie, I was talking about a blue wave, as in a surge in voting for Democrats"

Well on their way to drinking Ensure as the sole means of nutrition. Enjoy!
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…
