I'm sure they'll bring her back in some cartoon at some point. The movies won't need her but it's exactly those kind of introductions that will help ensure older audiences watch those things.

You can't with someone like her though. It has a domino effect travelling either back or forward. Unless they set her up as a new character coming in with no history.

Right. The way her origin was set up doesn't really fit with what seems to have happened between Jedi and TFA. In the books about the same amount of time passed in that timeline as what has passed in the canon timeline.

She and Luke were already married, had Ben (yes, same name) and she had died. Sure, some of the same stuff COULD have happened with Luke, but all evidence points otherwise.

That's what I prefer too but there's good reasons as to why when you consider that Luke had a similar story arc and suddenly you find out that he's related to a well known bro. I'm just trying to get people to talk about crazy theories. Just trying to have fun with it. Damn.
