I’d love to take credit for that logo but I got it from a Facebook t-shirt ad :P

What did you think of Powderfinger’s ‘Unreleased’ album?
Loved it, the couple of times I've listened to it. I was told not to buy it as it would be a Christmas gift. I have it on itunes now and will be giving it my full attention.
Keep up the excellent work!
Higgs wrote:I think 2020 was a good year for albums more than it was a good year for singles. Maybe it was the extended home-based down time that played into that a bit - we all found ourselves with more time at our homes and where better to consume albums in their entirety?

My mix this year was meant to be 2 discs but I kinda fucked that up. The track change at 11 to 12 might be a little rough...The mix is split in 4 sections:

- 80's Post Punk Revival
- Indie/Americana/Pop
- Groovier Tunes
- A Quiet Finish

Separate zip download for doone who can never get my rar files to work

Is it stupid that I have no problem putting this mp3 mix together but I can't imagine being arsed to put together a Spotify playlist?
1. I love that you remembered :luv:
2. No, it's not stupid, it's old school. Grampa

I'd heard most of these albums before and enjoyed this one. Where was Dave Simonett? I thought that and Roadside Graves were certains for your mix.

Thanks for listening. I love the Simonett album and had a song in the first draft of this (By the Light of the Moon), but I wasn't happy with the way it flowed in the mix. I need to spend more time with that Roadside Graves album. It didn't grab me on the first few listens, but I do love the song on your playlist.

I wanted to shoehorn the Moreland track into my list. I prefer his last album I think.

Higgs wrote:doone has asked me to answer that one for her Brad.

She loves "Day By Day" and cant quite believe it was left off the original album - it's a cracker. "Daybreak" is good too, but the rest of the album, whilst containing some interesting musical ideas and never becoming "boring" per se, could just as easily have been left unreleased.
Ignore pretty much everything Higgs has said. I like most of the songs, 3 or 4 of them are crackers for me. I find the rest far less boring than anything Pearl Jam has put out in the last decade. :D :D
