Yeah, quite a bit actually. I think last nights might have been their strongest episode.
Waterton instead of Watertown irked me in the first episode.

And then they tried to say they did that on purpose. Fuck you Aaron Sorkin, just admit you fucked up. You made sure to get everything else right, including the name of the 8 year old that was killed. Why would you change the name of the town?

Me too. The whole "don't trust anything or anyone on the internet or social media" gets old but the show has seemed to focus on what works.

Yeah, sorkin has a weird view of new media vs old media. He sees them as competing entities instead of mediums that can work in conjunction with each other.

I agree. And apparently Sorkin thought it was the best Newsroom episode to date.

Its exactly how old media views it. It seems that he associates with old media. Which is fitting, based on his love of lecturing the audience regarding the right way of living/voting/etc. He is the gray haired fella that will tell you how it is, and if you question his assessment than you can go fuck yourself.

Although traditional media is quicker to the point than Sorkin is.

This was a weird series for me. I was so excited for this series, and immediately let down. There were a few good episodes and some likable characters, but overall I thought this series kind of sucked. I feel like all the flashbacks in the finale should've been done earlier in the series (if at all). And yet, I watched every single episode within a week of the date it aired, and I'm kind of bummed that it's over.

for this to be true, there had to have been a slightly different version of the newsroom in the final season, a place which they collectively created in which to usher each other into the afterlife. also, it would technically be tied for the worst series ending ever.
