I watched about ten minutes of the Kong one. It suuuuuucked

These big monster movies have never really been a draw for me. I haven't seen any of these "new" ones. And I can't imagine I'll start with this one.

So the latest Kong flick was a lead-in to this too? Fuck. This is too much like homework.

I just rewatched the trailer. When Godzilla is trying to flash-fry Kong, Kong is deflecting it with an axe that looks like it’s made from one of the spikes on Godzilla’s back.

This movie intrigues me. I may try and find Kong and that last Godzilla flick and watch those.

Godzilla is a giant lizard that stops a bunch of stuff. King Kong is a giant gorilla that lives on an island. Godzilla killed a bunch of other monsters.

i will say this

cranstons performance in godzilla was phenomenal

kongs story was a pretty good if not predictable

KoM - was just a great homage to the old japanese godzilla movies and i ate it all up

I'm a huge fan of the old movies, so I'll see this. But Godzilla > Kong, so if they say otherwise in this movie it will suck

I am surprised this last one they didn’t bring Kong back to the mainland and left him there. While the outline is usually the same (man vs nature) sometimes you have to throw a curve ball to keep the audience honest

Maybe have the humans kill Kong only to find out it was son of Kong and now poppa is pissed

Pacific Rim is better than all these movies.
