never...I always saw him at citarella...man do i miss that place..anyway, last night episode in Rome was good..need some cacio e pepe this week
on the UES the Citarella is on the corner and at one point it had an attached bar/resto on the adjacent side of the corner (under a different name). they had a dollar oysters happy hour every week, which I used to hit up often. one time I actually found a baby pearl inside. not sure what happened to it
we had a friend that lived by that one...been there a few times but always made the time to walk a couple blocks down to JG Melon for a burger and a drink

we taped last nights episode because we were busy..we wake up early this morning to watch the Bologna episode from last night which was taped but it also gave us the
Florence episode which doesn't air until march 14th so we watched that incase it was some sort of mistake or something..did this happen to anyone else?

negative, but i use sling. had to turn off bologna during the bolognese segment as wife fell asleep.

Never had worse food on average, than when I visited Italy (Torino and Milano). Will go back one day, and hopefully get a better experience.

The Milan episode started off weak because it was in Milan. But it got better when they went into the countryside of Lombardy

i liked the episode but one thing pissed me off...when he was making food and the kid liked it and stanley said something about you're not saying that just because I'm famous....

I enjoyed the Sicily episode. I don’t think i was ever aware of that island off the coast of Africa that he visited

I'm all caught up on this show. Really enjoy it. Especially when they showcase a cheese maker. That lombardy mountain cheese was total food porn.
