also "interesting" is just a weird word in music. most music people describe as "interesting" is generally boring. i find it interesting songs can have the same chord progression as Porch and not do a thing for me. meanwhile, every time I hear porch I literally get a physical reaction.
yellow moon is fine, i guess. i think they wanted a pink floyd feel here and they missed. its not as good as 'low light', either.
It's definitely not as good as Low Light. I think being surrounded by complete turds at the end of LB has probably elevated it in my mind...at the end of the day i'm fine with it but it still definitely in the bottom 25% of their catalogue.
