I don't worry about genre that much really, but it would be nice to have some variety. It's not like the non-superhero blockbusters are any better right now. It's all pretty much shit. Seems like the ones I like are usually bombs, so I don't have a lot of hope for Hollywood.

Are Joker or Guardians of the Galaxy really superhero movies? Not really. Guess it depends on what you consider a superhero movie. Is Transformers a superhero movie? Maybe its just Marvel/DC we're sick of.

I think the biggest offender is the stale formula that nobody seems to mind. I mean, they're all the same fucking movie. I'm not talking about Joker, that's different.
