I like Get Right a bunch but Faithfull is in a league of its own.

Sometimes I wonder if Get Right was one of the last songs written/added on the album. It could fit in pretty well on S/T and I think they were trying to go that direction with S/T but just got lost in the production. I know some people think the lyrics are cringey and while they may not be the best, they don't get in the way of the song at all. Get Right is top tier late Pearl Jam. It is a shame they haven't played it at a show in almost 20 years. If I ever get to go to another PJ show and they play it, that will probably be my last Pearl Jam show I ever go to. Go out on top like a champ.

You really think the lyrics are cringey? I love them. Mysterious without being obtuse, fairly minimal but still impart imagery (“bakers dozen parade / stand and debate,” etc). There are very few PJ songs that have lyrics I’m still trying to pick apart after many years, but this is definitely one of them.

It's such a unique song -- for Pearl Jam, I mean.

Ruddo summed it up pretty well. And I've also never really found the lyrics cringey at all. Honestly, as good as Faithfull is, it took me a lot longer to really appreciate that song that Get Right, which was an instant grab for me.

I can't imagine I'll ever be at a Pearl Jam show with you or Ruddo but if it ever did happen, I can't tell you how much it would mean to be there and see/hear it with y'all.
