"Got Some" is one of the best songs on Backspacer and "Happy While I'm Crying" is better than that. Ipso facto, "HWIC" is better than Backspacer altogether. You know which one to choose.

The issue for me is that Got Some for me is the bright spot on Backspacer. Yes, Force of Nature and Speed of Sound are songs I really like, but Got Some is the one rocker on that album I really return to. Meanwhile, I listen to Happy When I’m Crying only when we have tournaments and discussions like these - and I like the song and all but there’s got to be a reason that stays on the shelf while Got Some doesn’t.

Ok. I just listened to HWIC for the first time in probably 20 years. It wasn’t what I thought it was. It was really cool, so I changed my vote.

If a Holiday Single could win this, it would be this one.

How is it still this close?

HWIC is so much better.
