Yep.
Just finished the second, about to watch the third. I completely agree with Argo's above post.
Really liked the finale. Decent show, overall. A lot of wasted time. A lot of deus ex machina and unearned progress. But I'll tune in for season two. There's a lot to like about the show even if it is heavy handed at times.
The wife and I just finished season two last night. Great show! It can get a bit soap opera-y at times, but overall it's really well done. I thought some parts of the finale wrapped things up a bit too neatly. Not much to anticipate about season three -- although I'll watch it for sure.
After three years of living in the Middle East. I've been playing TV catch up. Powered through all of Breaking Bad (as good as everyone said) and now finished with OITNB. Any suggestions for the next series?

Arrested Development Season 4
The Blacklist
Anything Larry David had his hand in
Season 2 took everything that I disliked about season 1 and amplified it. I enjoyed Poussey's expanded role and Morello's subplot, but thought the silliness was too over-the-top and those last 5 minutes were Bugs Bunny-level zany. It oscillated a little too much between high school hijinx and wanting to address serious issues. I also found myself annoyed by the dialogue; it felt to me like the writers were more preoccupied with coming up with one-liners that will look good in tumblr gifs than in telling a compelling story. It doesn't help that the character that's meant to carry this show (Piper) is also, by far, the most boring character in the show. It's frustrating because this show has so much potential. I keep wanting to love it.

I made a similar point to my wife when we watched this, Piper elicits very little sympathy (or empathy) as character in a show that she is suppose to anchor.

like V or any criminal on the run would just run to the road in prison garb. and cancer lady won't even get as far as jessie pinkman before she's rounded up. rather than toy story 2, they should show the shawshank redemption so these girls get a clue.
