Present Tense is good, specially the bridge but again, this type of songs were better in 96, 98 and from 2005 to this day.

great show. A little short for my taste, but overall the band is super tight.

Greensboro is next.

Good luck. That’s a daunting task. Even in my absolute height as a Pearl Jam fan I lacked the patience to get through a long tour like this. No doubt though some awesome shows in there - and this whole first leg is solid with really good shows in Florida, the Saratoga show, Pittsburgh, and JB3 which features a ton of No Code. Good times.

need to know if the guy who gave up his tape recorder before Crazy Mary got it back, and if he ever shared his recording.

Atlanta feels like a really laid back affair, Ed's flub in Nothingman was a bit off-putting along with butchering the Romanza intro to Better Man. Four shows in and it might just be some weariness getting acclimated to life on the road again.

These boots do sound absolutely fantastic though, which is something of real note for me as I may listen to the '00 DMB tour along with this one and it's all AUDs with a smattering of IEMs.

I have no interest in revisiting the dumpster fire that was Woodstock '99 but I adore that DMB set.

i've started from virginia beach, and have made it through Atlanta. these boots do sound great. and maybe it's because they're only two years out from touring yield, but those songs still sound great.

really enjoying/revisiting how well rearviewmirror and porch were back then.

on to west palm beach.

its pretty incredible to me how different i hear the band in 1998 and 2000...but thats something that always happens with this band each tour is pretty unique.

Really happy to see Greensboro has a weird setlist with Smile closing the show...and Of the Girl as an opener! should be a cool one.

I think it happened mostly during those Europe shows, but I liked when they threw Of the Girl in mid-set, and played around with Breakerfall during the encores. pretty sure they did that with Breakerfall during some of the NA shows too. the Of the Girl placement reminds me of when they'd play Sometimes mid-to-late set during the No Code tour.

I really like Of the girl as a opener...Sometimes too. They are both great mood songs, and i feel they could be lost in the middle of the show.

Agree. They should either start a show or be the first song after an encore.

this show is great. solid run from Long road to Small Town. Off He Goes starts slow, which i love, but the tempo picks up about halfway through. Rearviewmirror closing the set is tight. i really love how well they're playing that song at the start of this leg.

once again, another terrific encore: Go, Do The Evolution, Jeremy, Crazy Mary, Black, Porch

they're playing the hell out of Porch on this tour too.

Memphis is up.

started Memphis on a walk this morning.

a very good start, except Corduroy is too fast.

Tremor Christ is :nice: :nice: . don't know that i'd ever tire of them playing it, but this version is perf. as close to the album as you can get. I'm starting to warm up to NAIS coming mid-set to shift gears. i've never been a huge fan of the song, but it does the job of breaking up the set. kinda weird that they followed here with Wishlist.

i made it to Rearviewmirror before i stopped. other than Tremor Christ, nothing has stood out for me with this show. the encores look dope, so I'm hoping to be wow'd.

That Tremor Christ is a good one for sure. I think the I Got Shit is tight as all hell, along with Black, Nothingman and Go. And a nice tip of the hat to a fringe local celebrity with Can't Help Falling in Love.
