I believe plans of changed. And, I'm kinda glad, that would have been a mighty expensive 2 years.
Yeah, im good with maybe one of those every other year

Well they released that Vault show from 98'...i dont think there are many B sides from that era that we havent heard already....i hope im wrong tho
Until a week ago I really thought they had limited finished material other than what we had heard.

Could be a really worthwhile set (No Code, Merkinball, Mirrorball (Maybe could include it),Yield Blue Ray of SVT, Give Way, Lo2l, and a handful of unreleased material.

I wish they would just put out the unreleased stuff and stop packaging it with stuff I already bought 15 years ago.
After buying a handful of remasters/reissues I think I've come to the conclusion that there is no album I listen to often enough to purchase a second time, no matter how improved the remaster sounds.

Since I don't buy any other merch beyond albums, and they never come to MI anymore, im fine with these being the only PJ related goods I buy. I do enjoy how they look on my shelf.

I have no objection to them being released, I just wish there was another option to buy the extras on their own. I like the Orpheum CD quite a bit for example but I don't think it was worth buying Vs. and Vitalogy again just to get it (though to be fair it was pretty reasonably priced for a 3CD box).

I imagine it will be a very long time before a binaural/ riot act package. might get a boxed set before then.

Very true, but I wouldn't be opposed to getting another show from that era (if there are anymore in the vault) with the same kind of mix/master quality. IMO, Ed was at his best at the time, creatively and live.
The Constitution Hall show from 98 is a fucking monster.

This is my issue as well.
I already have them all on CD, now I'm filling in holes where I missed the vinyl releases. It would be cool of they released the bonus content, even if it was after an extended amount of time, like a year later.

According to Cameron Crowe and his movie...The band has just been a touring band since Vitalogy.
I doubt we'll see anymore of these.

I'll be pleased if there's no more reissues for the time being, I thought they did quite a poor job of the first three records (at least in terms of content.)
They definitely should reissue the catalogue on vinyl for whoever wants them, though.

This.
Kinda bummed they didnt do a proper vinyl master for backspacer and s/t. makes me feel better to know i only i paid $10 for backspacer and i'm not paying $300 for a cd transfer of s/t on vinyl. hopefully lightning bolt will sound better and wont be filled with punk rock garbage.
thanks for the replies everyone. guess i'll have to fork out the money and stop complaining haha

I have a funny feeling that regardless of how long it takes them, their product will fall short of your standards.

Nonsense, they've done plenty to please me lately: the offering of 24 bit FLAC bootlegs, the release of Vault #3 and Mind Your Manners being available to download in FLAC (and sounding much better than Backspacer) to name a few.
Lots of artists are putting out great archival reissues, the current Smashing Pumpkins series is really well done; it would've been entirely possible for Pearl Jam to do something similar but they really blew it.

I still think 10 was quite well done.
