The performance and recording on "In Hiding" push it over the top for me as well. The lyrics don't bother me, regardless of their simplicity or juvenile nature. I've long ago drifted from the sentiments of "Black", and "Leash" had never really interested me much, outside of the great rumbling opening.

In Hiding is a five star song. Gets my vote.

In 2005, Black beat In Hiding 48 to 27 in the quarterfinals.

In 2012, In Hiding booted Leash out of the 2nd round by 35 to 8.

Black is a former 2-time winner. It has an average vote tally of 148 (503 if you count the two TSIS years). In Hiding averages 103, and Leash trails at 25.

I love In Hiding and Black, but I love Black more.
