If someone is having sex, then they are actually having sex. The circumstances that got them there are irrelevant when it comes to the matter of authenticity of sex happening

authenticity is a fabrication

sincerity is scary

Even if an artist is 100% naturally feeling something as they create a song, in order to perform the song live, they will be playing a character in order to replicate that feeling. Unless they’re always in the same exact mood
