good morning boys
Cool. Was pretty good. Spent a lot of quality time with the boys, took them for a long walk in the wagon through the woods and hills by the lake, to the park, and that was a great, very sweaty workout in the heat. Drinking less alcohol and sleeping better. Feeling pretty rejuvenated lately.96583UP wrote:it was great, thank you

less alcohol, better. i am usually down to like one day a week, usually saturday, for like 2-3 drinks. but i am very much at a point where i don't like the feeling the next day, even after only a couple drinks, such that i will avoid it unless i am on vacation or at a wedding or something
exercise and eating/drinking healthy feels better now ... but in part bc takes so long to recover now
make sure to check for deer ticks after those walks in the woods. always wash with soap/shampoo after (ticks hate it)
you catch any fish recently?
did you ever get tested for lyme? important to test... although the tests can be flawed, important to detect earlytree_ wrote:96583UP wrote:nicetree_ wrote:Cool. Was pretty good. Yeah the older I get the more impossible it is to drink much alcohol if I am going to function at all the next day. Adjustments must be made. No ticks for me since several months ago when I found one on my scrotum. The bump still itches from time to time. Same thing seems to happen every Spring. They love the sack. Haven't found time for fishing lately, unfortunately. Maybe this fall.
Never have I ever. Probably should I suppose. Next time I see a doctor I suppose I'll request it, whenever that might be. Could be years.96583UP wrote:did you ever get tested for lyme? important to test... although the tests can be flawed, important to detect earlytree_ wrote:96583UP wrote:nicetree_ wrote:Cool. I never go to the doctor unprompted. I'm sure if something goes wrong I'll get tested for it. Plus I know to look out for that bullseye rash.96583UP wrote:you prob have an annual freebee dr. visit as part of your health plan?tree_ wrote:Never have I ever. Probably should I suppose. if it goes undetected it can lead to bad things ... all sorts of knock-on disorders and illnesses

preventative medicine is key, esp as we are getting older. you've got kids to take care of. don't let your life get cut short or impaired over preventable stufftree_ wrote:I never go to the doctor unprompted.
