Went grocery shopping yesterday. Wore a hoodie with a pocket in the front. When I got home I gathered all the bags from the car and went to the door. No keys. I then tried to figure out where in the store I would have had them out of my pocket to lay down somewhere and retraced my whole trip. Of course the fact I had them in order to drive home went completely over my head. But when I did remember that fact I remembered I put them in my hoodie pocket before gathering the bags.

Realizing that people no longer want to talk on the phone, especially the younger generations. They're terrified if you say that you're going to call them. I also text a lot with my friends and sometimes we might have a zoom session, but we also call each other especially if there's a sudden change of plans etc. but it seems that's something only old people do these days.

I'm 52 and I hate when my phone rings. But then again I am a registered tax agent so a disproportionate number of my calls are from the Australian Tax Office. And, as a rule, I don't want to take those calls.

I usually don't answer to work calls coming from certain countries because they have such a strong accent (and poor English) that I can't understand half of what they're trying to say. It's just easier to text them and say I'm busy and ask them to send email. It also saves time because I don't have to go through all the small-talk. But other than that I have no issue with talking on a phone.
