There is an eagle in me and a mockingbird . . . and the eagle flies among the Rocky Mountains of my dreams and fights among the Sierra crags of what I want . . . and the mockingbird warbles in the early forenoon before the dew is gone, warbles in the underbrush of my Chattanoogas of hope, gushes over the blue Ozark foothills of my wishes—And I got the eagle and the mockingbird from the wilderness.
O, I got a zoo, I got a menagerie, inside my ribs, under my bony head, under my red-valve heart—and I got something else: it is a man-child heart, a woman-child heart: it is a father and mother and lover: it came from God-Knows-Where: it is going to God-Knows-Where—For I am the keeper of the zoo: I say yes and no: I sing and kill and work: I am a pal of the world: I came from the wilderness.

Worth it? Any cool day trips? If I had two weeks should I try to go to Buenos Aires as well or is that going to be cost prohibitive? This would be a family trip with a 16 and 13 year old in tow.

I've only been to Rio once. I had a great time but I was also 18, so it's been a while. I went to Guanabara Bay and thought it was super fun. I would avoid carnival season.daft twat wrote:spike wrote:Post this in the Ask Jorge thread toodaft twat wrote:Rio De Janeiro in June seems possible. unknown fact: like most things in LA, Dodger Stadium actually only exists on tv. the only people who have seen a game there are actors.dad wrote:funner fact: i've been to Kaufman, busch, and arlington, but never dodger stadium.doug rr wrote:fun fact: I've never been to dodger stadiumdad wrote:chavez ravine could only be so lucky to have our sweet boy.doug rr wrote:are you at the dodgers game?

This sounds like it could be true. I agree.bodysnatcher wrote:unknown fact: like most things in LA, Dodger Stadium actually only exists on tv. the only people who have seen a game there are actors.dad wrote:funner fact: i've been to Kaufman, busch, and arlington, but never dodger stadium.doug rr wrote:fun fact: I've never been to dodger stadiumdad wrote:chavez ravine could only be so lucky to have our sweet boy.doug rr wrote:are you at the dodgers game?
