wease wrote:Had to fire another one today. One of my center staff got confrontational with a patient. I had written her up a few months back for the same thing, but the patient pretty much started all that so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and just gave her a final write up. Well, it happened again today but this time she started everything. She even stormed into the patient’s room and went after them. I told her to leave and that she was fired so she decided to hang out in the parking lot and wait for the patient to come out so she could beat their ass for getting her fired. At that point, we had to call for police intervention. So they escorted her off the property. She went to the convenience store next door. About this time I found out she carries a gun so I had the police stay with her so she wouldn’t follow the patient home and I had them follow the patient at least part of the way home as well.

I had already planned on firing her anyway because she’s just terrible and I actually already had 2 interviews set up for tomorrow to hire her replacement.

At my first job after school, a guy got fired for printing off material about ammo that worked best for certain guns. He left it in the printer and someone found it. Didn’t realize I was coworkers with simple schoolboy.
