For some things the texture is a detriment (tends to shed fibres on rough surfaces) Fine for regular clean up.

My household used Sam’s MM TP for years with no complaints. After switching over to Costco, I found the Kirkland brand to be noticeably inferior. After one too many unfortunate breakthrough incursions, enough was enough. So now it’s Charmin or go fuck your mother.
