Not for nothing but there is nothing about Willow that isn't a knock off why should Young Guns escape lol?

Oof. I had high hopes for this but the acting is horrible.

Haven’t seen ep 6 yet, but I’ve enjoyed it so far.

Just want to make sure I heard that Crone lady right; "you can't kill the Wyrm, he's eternal bitch!"

Yeah, you did. It was one of the worst lines in a show with a lot of really bad ones. Dialogue is a huge strike against this show. The modern music is another big strike. I don’t think I would have minded it so much if there weren’t pieces of Horner’s great score peppered in to remind me how Willow should sound.

Overall, this didn’t ruin Willow for me. The only unforgivable misstep was allowing the trolls to speak and then making the main one fucking sarcastic. Just awful.

What was good?
The creatures. The baddies were scary.
The sets / Wales. It felt like a lived in fantasy world.
Boorman. He was great! It took me a while to figure out where I heard his voice before, but it’s exactly the same as Kev on Gervais’s show “Derek.”
Willow. He still wore the blue tunic well.
There were some great callbacks as well.

I know it teased two more volumes, and I’d watch them, but there is zero chance they get made. This show didn’t find an audience because it wasn’t made for anyone. It just didn’t know what it was supposed to be. That’s on Kasdan. I appreciate him bringing back one of my favorite characters ever, and I think he tried to do his best with it, but I don’t think he ever really understood what made the original movie so great.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Kasdan said?

That dude might be clinically delusional.

Like I said.

I hope the dude gets to keep making shit. But this isn't the first time he's done this.

Still haven't watched Willow. But it looks cool and I know folks who love it. Hopefully, they get to keep making it. Fingers crossed.

I would think if they let all the actors go chances are super high this is dead. It would pretty tough to get them all back again right? Schedules and all. Feels more like face saving.
