In Catcher in the Rye Stradlater borrows Holden’s houndstooth jacket for his date with Jane Gallagher. Holden worries that Ward will stretch it out with his broad shoulders. Later, he worries that Stradlater will stretch her vagina out while he’s giving her the time in the back of that goddam Ed Banky’s car. It’s the best book ever written, if you want to know the truth.
Waitaminute. Banky and Holden are from Catcher in the Rye? I never knew that.
Chasing Amy fan? Yeah, Kevin Smith was never terribly deep, even at his best.

You were calling things gay as a joke or in perjorative manner. It's marginalizing to gay people. How do you not get that?

When it came out, you’d have been hard pressed to find a bigger Smith fan. Nowadays, not to much.

Oh, same. He is to movies what Weezer is to music.

i go back and forth over hooded jackets. somedays, i'd rather wear a beanie to keep my head warm. plus, it gets so damn windy here, the hoods just blow right off anyway.

once something is in there do you button it back down? i'd probably put $40 of walking around money in it

if it's something as simple as chapstick, sure, button it back. i'm pretty bad about losing chapstick.

why $40? is that just what'll get you through in a pinch? small enough to be okay with misplacing, but enough to get you a pour of brown?
