I love Doug. More than any other poster, he makes me feel seen. I think he and I could sit down with a bottle of Evan Williams and enjoy each other’s company.
I love LetMeSleep. His taste in music is great. I’d love to tip back some Victoria Bitters with him.
I love Wease and Bammer and Trag and Jorge and Burt because I think they are the lifeblood of RM. As long as they’re posting, this place lives and I will continue to visit.
I love Verb. I know he rubs a lot of people the wrong way, and I disagree with many of his opinions, but I think this place is often hypocritical and banning guys like him is counterproductive to what a forum is by definition.
I love Dime for his unmitigated love of Star Wars, but I wish he didn’t resort to verbal violence when contradicted about the subject. Also, he was a major factor in the spread of Covid, I’m told.
I love all the posters who used to love Pearl Jam - like Norris and Spenno - because they still are part of this community despite falling out of love.
I love Biff for being readable ASMR.
I love Strat and Ruddo and Stickman and Bi_3 for all being even better in person than they are/were on this message board.
I mean how fucking great is vinylguy? And Knee Tunes?! And B? And Anders? I’m not going to keep going because I’ll add a dozen names and miss another dozen whose contributions I’ve really enjoyed.
