There's usually a 200 mile and 6 month exclusion clause on bands performing at festivals and sometimes their own shows.

Yeah its diabolical. That's the reason they didn't play London on the last Euro tour, because it's apparently within 200 miles of IOW, which is technically overseas!

They got around it last time in Ireland.
Belfast isn't 200 miles from Dublin. But it's technically a different country.

Manchester was crap when I went last time (bad set, arena far too big) so if they're not doing a non-festival show in London I won't be going.

I've heard Fenway Park rumors as well as an once-a-summer baseball stadium concert. I'm not getting my hopes up but Fenway would be killer.

So far these "see you next year" promises reminds me of the 2003 promises.

Personally, Australian, Euro, Canadian and American shows in 2014 seems far fetched given their short leg tours of recent years.

Looks like Euro in June. Milan on June 12 or 18. US in Fall again?

There was something on Twitter this morning about Italian Rolling Stone reporting shows there might be happening 12.June through 18.June. Please note that I cannot actually read Italian.

I think it's about the much rumoured Milan show, that it's either going to be 12 or 18 June. But I'm not sure either.

This + Stone seems to have said in a Danish interview the Euro tour will be in June 14.

Yes the rumour is the 12th or 18th but don't take it too seriously. Most of the rumours coming from Italy for either PJ or Ed solo shows are just that. I wouldn't be surprised if they just do a festival as always.

The number/quality of festival shows the "good" EU countries get is better than what most in their home town have seen since a year or two before Backspacer was released.

I think all of us Euro fans from "good" countries will agree on that. We felt hard done by from 00 to 06. Since then, totally spoiled.
