i remember a plumber coming once to do some work on pipes in the basement and he had to cut and weld some shit that took a while so he just set up shop with his speakers and just starts blasting Guns n Roses

i could hear it from upstairs and came down all like 'thanks for filling my house with this lovely music!' and he basically gave me a look like he wanted to kill me and get the fuck out

and so i did not go back in there again

The cleaning ladies are always bopping to bangers on their pods.
Gonna need you to ask them for a playlist, so we can verify the slapitude of these bops and bangers.
are you insinuating cleaning ladies can't pick quality bops and bangers?

i'm currently listening to the contractor singing "i want to dance with somebody" in a thick mexican accent while he grouts the new tile in the kids' bathroom. it's somewhat endearing.

Our entire courtyard smells like cigarettes because two of the Polish roofers are constantly burning heaters.

question for you: when you're working at someone's house, do you or your company stick a sign advertising your services in the front yard of the home? i've had this happen to me before (without asking our permission), and just saw a sign in my neighbor's yard this morning.

We put them up on exteriors, but we ask first. It's pretty good free advertising.
