january 26, 2001 - the last time i smoked a cigarette.
i've never been as hungover as i was the day after (i remember the date because of the afc championship game on).

I always reek of smoke after visiting my mom’s place. Everyone’s clothes go in the wash as soon as we get home.

i had six cigarettes last night. four one night a week before that. three or four one night the week before that. prior to those three nights, i hadn't smoked since last july. can't pick this shit up again, so hard stop [insert barry saying, "starting now" here]

Pretty sure the last smoke I had was at the Forum before the PJ show and I’ll tell you what, it took forever to find one to bum. Hardly anyone smokes anymore.

My brother chains them. When we all get together at our parents, even sitting outside the whole time, we all come back smelling of smoke.

I've seen people charge money for a bum. I think that's a smart way to be charitable to an addict while also drawing a bright line for all of them to see. And if they're poor they shouldn't be smoking anyway.

The Corner and The Wire painted Baltimore as some kind of hell on earth, but I thought it was neat that the bodegas offered the purchasing of single smokes. We don't have that here.
