McHale effectively ruined his career playing on a broken foot and Larry destroyed his back shoveling gravel in the off season. It kinda makes me nutty when I think about it. Different time. Can't imagine LeBron shovels gravel in his down time.

Yes, I remember Larry just lying on his stomach in between breaks, whenever he could, at the very end. Sad.
