If it's an old/familiar/expected villain, everyone will say it's lazy.Anders wrote:Who will the antagonist(s) be?
Yeah, I feel like setting this 15 years after the events of the last movie helps (to some extent) in that regard. But we'll see. I do fully expect some more familiar characters, to be sure. But hopefully only those that make sense for the story.Coach wrote:There's def someone smart and creative enough to figure this out. In all seriousness, all good to go with Rey again. I think she nails the Jedi thing. I would encourage them to limit the freaking Easter Eggs and go with mostly new characters.
yes, her coming back is a sign maybe of her career status right now.Jorge wrote:Daisy Ridley's post Star Wars career hasn't been great. She's really good as Rey but I hope she doesn't feel it's all she can do, that would be a bummer.
I feel you here and I agree. But I don't think that's at all what's happening.Jorge wrote:Daisy Ridley's post Star Wars career hasn't been great. She's really good as Rey but I hope she doesn't feel it's all she can do, that would be a bummer.
Or perhaps the status of the franchise right now.VinylGuy wrote:yes, her coming back is a sign maybe of her career status right now.Jorge wrote:Daisy Ridley's post Star Wars career hasn't been great. She's really good as Rey but I hope she doesn't feel it's all she can do, that would be a bummer.

Obviously she’ll have Chewbacca, Threepio and Artois with her. Who else would they be with?epilogue wrote:Yeah, I feel like setting this 15 years after the events of the last movie helps (to some extent) in that regard. But we'll see. I hadn't even thought about Chewy, 3P0 and R2. But those make sense. Though, at this point it feels more like BB8 is her droid than R2.wease wrote:Obviously she’ll have Chewbacca, Threepio and Artois with her.
