I feel like I missed out on some great opportunities because of my own mother. My mom was really proud of my work ethic and dedication, but she wasn't very open to women coming into the workforce or even being in a position to help them through that process. I wish I could share my mother's story in a similar vein with a young woman who's taking on a similar role for herself.

but your mom deserves mad respecto, she is correct that women don't belong in the workforce
