It'll be interesting to see how the draft will change based on what happened in the first one.
Real talk: I'm not even looking at the first round drafts now that I've voted. I'm going to try to block the whole thing and play by feel.Thejambi wrote:It'll be interesting to see how the draft will change based on what happened in the first one.
I dont consider what other people like when I'm doing these things.durdencommatyler wrote:Real talk: I'm not even looking at the first round drafts now that I've voted. That's the thing, you should draft the team for yourself, but when you end up with the team you want and lose in the first round, its tough.durdencommatyler wrote:Yep. Best laid plans and all that.
Pearl Jam have so many great songs. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to put together a team I love no matter what. The question will be whether or not I can put together a team anyone else will vote for.
I'm about due though. So I'm ready for it. So far I haven't lost a single tourney in the first round. It's bound to happen. Maybe it'll happen in the A&E tourney and I can let go of the fear.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:That's the thing, you should draft the team for yourself, but when you end up with the team you want and lose in the first round, its tough.durdencommatyler wrote:Yep. Have a contingency plan. Also, have a broad goal for the style of your list, so you can be adaptive.stupidmop wrote:I kinda came up with a playlist i thought would be cool to do, but it's all going to fall apart and i'm gonna end up winging it after people start taking my songs
It's not that at all . There was no point of reference for how early or late songs were going to go doing the first draft.numbers wrote:I dont consider what other people like when I'm doing these things.durdencommatyler wrote:Real talk: I'm not even looking at the first round drafts now that I've voted. Same is true for this one though. Because it's all different people. The last draft is no blueprint for how Stip's gonna draft his team.Thejambi wrote:It's not that at all . That's true. It still could change someone's philosophy if they thought a song tey really like would last till a late round but in our draft someone took it early. Like "Oh other people might like that song as much as I do". Now that the wedding is over Chelsea and I are in full fantasy football mode for our draft on Saturday. PJFL was a great idea.durdencommatyler wrote:Same is true for this one though. Because it's all different people. It'll be interesting, for sure. I just hope I can grab at least one of my top five.Thejambi wrote:That's true.
