I know it was a rights issue, but Marvel desperately needed something like this right after Endgame.
This does look cool, but I'm about 12 movies and 20 TV shows behind at this point, so I'm not sure if I'll be jumping back into the MCU.

Makes sense. It’s dialogue was dominated by a British actress and the increasingly stiff acting of Pascal.

I love Pascal but he’s a terrible choice for Reed.

Everyone sounds like they’re giving restrained, dress rehearsal line readings which is completely at odds with the intended retro futuristic 50s Epcot Center/Tomorrowland vibe. Is this gonna be any fun? Is Matt Shakman actually the director?

The 2000s FF movies had issues but they largely nailed the casting and tone. (Other than their Dr. Doom, a terrible casting choice that will probably be topped in ignominy by RDJ. Ralph Fiennes is available, Feige!)

It's just a teaser but I agree the cast feels off. The woman playing Sue feels more Emma Frost than Sue Storm...she gives off a villain vibe....it's super odd hearing Ben sound like a regular dude....no gravel or rasp to his voice...I liked what's his name in Stranger Things but he's super bland in everything else...I don't think smartest man in the world when I think of Pedro Pascal and yeah he's super low energy in the teaser....Reed is typically bouncing off the walls....I have no interest in dying on the miscast hill I hope they prove me wrong. It would be cool to have a good FF movie.

Why would Ben's voice sound like gravel? His skin was turned rocky, not his vocal chords.

And in FF #8, Alicia recognizes him by his voice, so that would indicate his voice didn't change when he was transformed.
