When Chris Pratt is part of an ensemble cast in a live action cartoon, and his role is limited mostly to “deliverer of the godawful wink-at-audience one-liners,” he manages to elevate those excruciatingly dumb jokes to sort of funny. That’s not a small feat.

When Christ Pratt tries to be Tom Cruise steely-eyed and awesome, as he regularly does in those Jurassic fan films, he falls so flat and looks so fucking dumb that I feel an acute and overwhelming embarrassment for him and his species.

From a quick search it seems he's never been part of Hillsong. At least that's what he says. I don't know about the homophobia charge, is this about something specific or just related to the Hillsong charge?
