On defence contractor stocks? Israel and the US are going to have to buy an absolutely enormous amount of GBUs and whatnot. Line goes up.

It's impressive how efficiently they can pancake concrete buildings with little damage nearby. We should do that next time a casino gets imploded, it would be way cheaper.

I know you know this, but I want to say that one can be anti-terrorist and anti-apartheid at the same time.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

This affects everyone. I’m good friends with someone and their sister was at that rave and she’s still missing.
This affects everyone and all I’ve ever asked in this thread and you can read all the way back and it’s just why is it still happening?

You guys gave the taliban billions of dollars and tech that wasn’t commercially available for a decade after.

But sure. Blame the reaction to you doing that.

The blind stupidity and arrogance of it

so now that it is apparent that Iran helped organize this.... how does Israel retaliate? on the down low? could not just be classic invasion style ... proportional response though ... shit could get hairy

The Biden admin has been significantly infiltrated by Iran (chief Iran guy got quietly transferred after losing his security clearance). I understand wanting to normalize relations with Iran, but giving them oversized handouts makes no sense.

Sell Israel whatever they want, as they did with Azerbaijan. Let that be the extent of our involvement. We owe them nothing more, as they have never been keen on aligning their activities with our interests.

i def would not expect the US to engage Iran directly over this

but my question is what does Israel do to Iran

and what does that lead to

maybe Israel just goes apeshit on Hamas in Gaza and doesn't do anything to Iran itself

but seems like there is potential for shit to go down for real

does Iran have nuclear warheads that work or just enriched uranium?

Both the Israelis and the Palestinians have been held in terror for far too long under the lies that Hamas is moderating. That they just need to deescalate and a peaceful two-state solution can be implemented. But what we saw Saturday, what Hamas and their legions of supporters inside Gaza did when the wall was breached for just a few hours, is proof that this will never happen as long they hold power in Gaza. That "from the river to the sea" is not a metaphor for unity but a genocidal principle held so close to the heart that none of us in the squishy and privileged Western world can understand it. And we are now unambiguously clear what will happen when their sponsors in Iran get a nuclear bomb. As 100,000 Israeli citizen-soldiers invade and re-occupy Gaza the scarifies both they and the innocent non-combatant Palestinians, who have been trapped in horror for generations, will make to rid Gaza of this evil will shake the world. Let's just hope and pray the US has enough influence and power left in the region that this doesn't spiral into WW3.

European Commissioner for Enlargement says all European funding for Palestine is suspended 'immediately'.

(Collective punishment is prohibited by treaty in both international and non-international armed conflicts, more specifically Common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions and Additional Protocol II.)

100% Iran behind it.
‘Iran used the window of opportunity, during the immediate aftermath of the earthquake in Syria, back in April, to bring re-enforcements of weapons under the guise of humanitarian aid convoys.
Over the last week we've seen:
1 attack in Turkey led to dozens of attacks in Syria and Iraq.
1 attack in Damascus led to dozens of attacks in north west Syria.
And then this.’

Not sure if you are asking this due to the WWIII comment. If so, I think the implication is that if the US, EU, Iran, and other major players get involved, it will expand to beyond just the immediate Israel/Palestine area of operation.
